Thank you so very much for your tip to support my journalism, @b05. I really appreciate it. My first week in the @farcaster community has been great so far. I am an independent journalist who focuses on foreign affairs, with a special focus on Ukraine and the rest of Eastern Europe. I conduct interviews on foreign policy, as well as shoot on-the-ground video features from Ukraine and elsewhere. No company pays me for my work, so I am 100 percent self-funded. I am looking to raise 1000 USD by Wednesday to pay off some bills, so any tips towards that would be appreciated. But I will be launching a monthly membership model next week so be on the lookout. So glad to hear you are having a positive experience! Really believe that the options for monetization here could really provide a better way for journalists and drive more users to @base and crypto in general. Everything from tipping for likes using @tipn to integrations with @zora are possible. Would be cool if someone built a platform to make it easy to do things like cross post from Substack/Twitter, integrate newsletters and leverage different models for monetization available on @farcaster and Base to make it easy for them to move over, promote, and monetize. Hopefully @dwr.eth & team will think about ways to recruit more folks like you to bring their audience over.
