One way to look at this is that the luxury scale is moving downstream to the pre natal, the gestational. When everyone can run the card to get the $5k stroller, how else are you supposed to flex? less about the “score” but +1 to replies not rly getting seen for all the talk about replies + conversations + building relationships here the UX is not that conducive to it beyond initial caster + replyee I know dan likes to cite the “show replies” thing is same on twitter but i hate it there too🤠

Well 🫣 yeah, in some ways it does. TBH this client is clearly so modeled after X. I still think someone should make one modeled after Reddit. There are the parts for it. That is much more conversational

I don’t see how spammy quote casts are any better than spammy replies? But high-quality replies (of which there are many on here) are generally much better than quotes given that they facilitate conversations

to what extent can the incentive and spam algos work together to reward quality, truly engaging conversations that go deep into reply chains? change the meta. make it easier to navigate reply chains and highlight high quality replies that the incentive mechanism rewards in the home feed.
