i switched to the “following” feed on twitter two weeks ago and i may never turn back i follow a self-curated list of thought leaders that i trust to share interesting insights on things i care about (and things i may not care about *yet*) and i get their insights in realtime vs hours later highly recommend

I find myself going to following and also creating lists. I find the “For You” will provide too much on single topics based on what I viewed recently. I want a mix of topics in my TL.

I did the same but was still getting nonsensical noise from people I follow reposting stuff. I found there’s a “turn off reposts” option for each person you follow, makes the feed nicer

Is there a way to turn off the For You feed / default to Follow feed? Or you just manually swiping over to Follow feed each time?

The best is using Lists instead of following. I'm shocked they haven't paywalled the functionality. I follow very few people, but have thousands in lists and those lists have no algorithmic involvement. It's great.
