okay women and men, please weigh in on this video in the comments below: - do men know about “are we dating the same guy” private FB groups and does it freak them out like it freaks me out - is this protected free speech or defamation - when does something done with good intentions swing too far the other way

i was asking seriously! so if he WAS involved in the murder of his ex-wife and DOES have STDs, as the women claim, then they are in the clear and it is considered protected free speech?

gotcha :-) yeah, truth is always constitutionally protected even if false, there are very powerful legal protections for statements that are not likely to be interpreted as fact (i.e. rhetoric, opinions) *but* if the std statement is false then that's defamation per se in most states, i.e. damages are assumed

I don’t think that there’s a jurisdiction where you can freely publicize information about someone’s medical conditions, even or especially if it’s true. If you’re a private citizen that is. This is violating more than reputation
