preface: i support jews; me asking this Q doesn’t mean that I don’t. i ask this genuinely, and i can’t be the only one confused. below is the exchange in which Kara/Scott/MSM say Elon endorses an antisemitic post. can someone explain how it is antisemitic? to me it reads as frustrated, but by no means hostile.

love that on farcaster we have conversations that would be impossible elsewhere. to me this reads as: someone on x: [somewhat incoherent negative statement about jews] elon: exactly fucking right

agree, Farcaster is special. also agree that elon shouldn’t have said anything because it makes it so messy. i guess, through the conversations here, my question is when does a statement go from being negative to being antisemitic? what’s the line? we shouldn’t be banned from expressing negative opinions.

I think in general it's better to criticise ideas instead of people groups, behavior instead of people. A person can choose to stop doing something, or believing something, but can't choose to stop being who they are.
