I don't understand the negativity. We're giving the top 100 casters $5 in USDC every day. No other conditions or gotchas. Just a small thank you for contributing something valuable. We also tried to make the algorithm more friendly to smaller accounts (by normalizing followers). (He has claimed he muted me, yet...)

okay in @timdaub.eth's defense, i don't think he was being critical of farcaster but rather of the crypto space generally all of these memecoins and tipping tokens that are driven by speculation and often pump have made a group of people go "ugh, $5? really?" the issue isn't warpcast, the issue is crypto at large lol

okay and now in dan's defense, being an LP in a fund =/= endorsing, influencing, agreeing with everything said fund does — especially including what the fund publishes tim, please don't make me regret defending you :)

If he ends up making a return on his LP position and a large part is from supporting memecoins, is he responsible? It‘s like saying I hodl Oil, Tabacco and Military stonks but hey I din‘t endorse what they do, I just like to profit

yes, welcome to the world traditional finance. shareholder capitalism isn't stakeholder capitalism. as someone who wants kiwi to succeed, it is highly concerning to me that you are allocating this much of your time to personally attack dan instead of focusing it on kiwi. may be great for views but bad for product.

.@ted some people have been held accountable here. The whole memecoin thing wasn‘t great for my product tbh and my reputation etc. I was very clear and nobody wanted to listen. I‘m not gonna hold some random dude accountable who was opportunistic enough. I have already said when this Paradigm post came out that it is a bad thing for our industry. What can I do about the fact that the chicken is coming home to roost? I didn‘t rug pull -90% from all memecoins or hype people up in the get go. This stuff is hurting our industry, where we want to make money. I‘m trying to sell NfTs but in the eyes of a normie I‘m a scammer, because of all the bad actors and because from the highest ranks like Paradigm there‘s encouragement. It‘s not OK

idk about any of the memecoin stuff. what i do know is that i came to you w/ an idea to activate the writers and thinkers on FC in a way that would benefit kiwi and perhaps help both your product + reputation. and the signal that i'm getting rn is that this bs fighting is more important to you than a collab :) gg
