things my brothers tell me they NEVER experience so must be unique to the female experience: - getting irked by a “k” text - thinking about fertility - being told “wow you look tired” - feeling nervous walking home alone - experimenting w/ eyebrows - wanting to play ABBA on repeat (mebe just me) what else???

also note: not saying these are bad things (except for walking home), just differences that make me giggle or think deeper about life! like i will never in my life have to worry about wearing a “cup” when i play sports

All but the k for me. And I get nervous while being pissed that I have to feel nervous.

managing feelings of anxiety/fear on being alone in public spaces esp. at night / having to develop creep radar is for sure something I had never experienced before

Another, I don’t think a man ever has to have that convo in their head when ‘extracting yourself from unwanted attention’ because while sometimes a polite decline is fine, sometimes it goes bad fast so we tend to be doing mental gymnastics about how to make sure the guy can save face. So glad I’m old now!

I’ve been told I look tired a good number of times. Possible it happens more to women. Possible i look more tired than most men. K - depending on context that can be annoying. Walking home alone - def when I was younger. Must be a lot worse for women though.

Walking into a room and feeling like you dont' belong there (to be fair that is likely the domain of white males rather than all males) Wondering what the group of males (young or old) are thinking if you have to walk past them on your own / feeling nervous depending on time of day.
