maybe its general wariness around farcaster in the greater twittersphere yet it is a little surprising on one has tried launching a channel here yet similar to spinning up a new discord or telegram - at least I haven't seen it - specifically someone in the X space leveraging the tooling here - when and if that starts happen that will be one signal for me that farcaster is starting to gain more attention.

We are living in a dearth of community and X pretty much rugged people who fell in love with it by turning it into a mouthpiece. The tides will change tho, this is all circular. When people call out for community, the universe provides. The universe sent you, didn’t it?

Maybe the "revenue share did permanent damage" Perhaps we gotta keep the financialization out of social networks for them to work in the way we hope - i.e., interacting with communities and having genuine thoughtful discussions.

I am so curious if they are running the algo on autopilot (not doing anything, or worse, clicking and pausing on horrific content) or are they actively telling it to show (by liking lots of stuff) or not show (by telling it you dont want to see this content). It seems like its not possible to passively scroll on X and get what you want. Spend a few minutes every time you are on there fine-tuning things, it changes SO much you won't believe it in just a few days. I love FC but it's a place where you can come back 2-3 times a week and catch up pretty fast. The more I fine tune X the more its got the vibes of a Farcaster corner but also access to the greater world outside of the bubble.
