I keep having calls with people where they say "crypto only has PMF for speculation"

I get that we shouldn't have disdain for the (current) biggest use case, but do you really think we built internet native finance rails and the only thing we're gonna do on them is gamble?

I think for some reason, the stablecoin userbase is "othered" -- like "oh yeah that's just for remittances and poor people eurodollars"

But the leap is not made to people on the internet transacting with each other using stables...

Imagine not shorting USDC 🥶 infinite money glitch!

It’s a USD wrapper though; all the other stuff that is net new is basically Bitcoin or gambling …..
