to me, talking about /higher as a token and as an easy trade undermines its status + strength as a brand the most successful brands are built by teams passionate about a vision and creating something new + valuable; without regard for price which is often just a distraction intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation matters

Interesting traditionalist take 🧐 1/ I totally get what you mean and where that feeling comes from - from “a consumer with taste” perspective 2/ I think it misses at the important point though -> all famous brands teams had people speculating on higher (pun intended) price funding them 🤷♂️

1/ may not be true of all brands, but certainly true of lifestyle brands 2/ examples? have you read shoe dog?

I did read shoe dog - but not sure to which part you’re referring to? Seems to me there’s part 2/ at play since the early beginning
