friendly reminder that replies do matter thoughtful (not AI-generated) replies are how i built my community and friendships here early FC lore: for a long ling time, there was no quote cast, only recast and recasts were weighted less than replies because conversations are critical to building a social *network*

This is a great reminder ted! It can be a bit scary though for some people with less "existing legitimacy" - I remember my first three days on Warpcast a (very) long time ago, my casts were boosted and I received lots of responses to my own responses, incl from people that I admired - that would be super cool to recreate somehow.
