two things can be true: 1. this is good revenue generation for these pods that wouldn’t have been generated on traditional platforms 2. as a podcaster, “minutes listened” is infinitely more valuable to me compared to “mints,” which imo is the most unreliable onchain metric for quality of multimedia content

Last time I looked into it (~2018 or so) the podcasting space was just beginning to think about programmatic advertising and metrics. Seemed really hard given the fragmentation of the podcast app space (50% Apple plus a mishmash of everything else). No way to really measure listenership. Maybe blockchain can help?
