Haha, I try to explore more meta across the entire crypto world, not just Farcaster. However, I’ve often heard people say that Farcaster feels somewhat closed off, outsiders find it hard to integrate, and insiders seem uninterested in connecting with the outside world.
For the Virtuals ecosystem, a key factor is that many AI agents launched via Virtuals Protocol have Twitter accounts, making Twitter the default platform for discussions. Similarly, many Clanker projects start here, so discussions begin on Farcaster and later move to Twitter.
I do hope Farcaster, as an open social network, can host conversations about any ecosystems and blockchains. But there’s still a long way to go, perhaps by fostering more Farcaster-native meta, we can attract more people to engage here and eventually broaden the scope of discussions. 1 reply
