loved skiff and was early paid user. was sad to see them sell but totally get the biz decision. don't trust notion as a reliable data store, have seen/heard of support randomly accessing notes historically. so, sadly no to their hosted email unless e2e encrypted like protonmail

I loved Skiff mail and their path to become a privacy-focused G-Suite alternative. It was sad to see them get gobbled up by Notion but I’m glad to see Notion didn’t just buy them to kill them. I’ll def be trying it out but I trust Notion less than I trust Proton for a secure, private email experience.

I use Notion calendar so will definitely give it a try. I’ve been wanting to replace Apple Mail for ages but couldn’t justify paying for Superhuman as I’m not really sending/receiving emails very often

Superhuman is very sticky. Very hard to compete and personally can’t expect a new mail client to be as smooth, fast, effective and efficient as Superhuman.
