Everyone has been complaining about "2 many newsletters," so teamed up with a friend to see if we could use ML + LLM + NLP & Apple Silicon's excessive power to come up with a solution. It is a work in progress, but the first steps have been taken! https://om.co/2023/08/27/how-do-we-fix-the-too-many-newsletters-problem/

Are we not at the ‘too unbundled’ stage of newsletters? If I understand correctly, you are proposing AI becomes an editor to bundle, but I’m curious how you introduce new writers and help surface untapped talent?

No I am suggesting the I create a personal summarizer based on what I read on an ongoing basis. That way “bundled” by choice, but without overthinking :)

Whenever I add new newsletters they become part of the corpus and obviously the new stuff will be surfaced initially but if I don’t read it it falls back in the summaries. Of course, I can get a list every month showing the newsletters I have not read at all and might want to revisit or unsubscribe.
