For me it’s always been financial and “legal” (arbitrary enforcement via code) infra. But like casinos vs nonprofits, there is a wide array of things that can be built with this new infra. I’ll die on the hill that some use cases deserve more attention and resources than others.

We at icebreaker spent a ton of time thinking about this today, and didn’t get to any perfect solution. There is an argument that it no longer matters, and we should no longer assume anything online is a human/bot, but simply judge it on its merits. Crazy that we’ve cross the Turing test threshold at scale

I'm rebranding my design practice from /red to /a0 Red never meant much. When channels launched, my pfp was red and the channel was available. Obviously, all variations of "red design" were taken and tired. "A0" are the first and last letters of my name; something like A16Z. I think it's pretty cool, but then again I came up with it This will mark the transition from a solo practice to a small agency; I have ideas on how more people can work with me, and how I can pay it forward while getting the help I need to grow. What I have in mind is not a format I've seen before. It'll be fun! /a0 will be a product-first practice. We'll still do web and brand work of course, but I expect and hope I'll work with many more early stage founders who need to ship fast and can't wait 12 weeks for a brand book I'll share an unreleased project very soon to give an idea of what is achievable If you have something you need help with, DMs are open :)

Understand your point, but I have a feeling India-Pakistan will be minor and contained, more theatrical for PR then anything else. And yes Israel is about to ramp up more killing in Gaza from all indications, and Iran looks to soon be under direct US attack.
