I, currently, get to work under someone who has written core technology in web development that many people here may have used. Getting to learn how he thinks about writing/organizing software, particularly Typescript has been amazing. Is there someone that influenced you heavily on your dev journey?

Misko Hevery used to write a lot about design for testability before he started Angular. I learned about testing and some good code design principles from him. Ironically, I've never liked Angular. I've also followed dhh for a long time. Ironically, I've never cared too much about Rails. I did learn a lot from many brilliant people at Google. Going through the process to get readability in Go, Java, JavaScript, Python and C++ taught me a lot.
