I just wish Wikipedia would take USDC, I'm happy to donate, but I'm lazy I don't want to take out my credit card and fill out a form.

It’s crazy to me that there isn’t a “stripe to anything” yet. Let me create a QR code, which allows me to accept literally any type of digital payment, and then I can choose any type of payout, including a check in the mail.

They used to accept Bitcoin and Ether, but their editor base voted to stop accepting these donations on the basis of environmental concerns. They have not reversed this decision after the switch to proof-of-stake. https://www.theverge.com/2022/5/1/23052309/wikimedia-foundation-stops-cryptocurrency-donations-wikipedia
