Allowance system is changing again. Who in the community are the DEGEN team listening to? Almost everyone I’ve talked to really likes the new allowance system. 

It’s not a good look to continue changing things so rapidly. It gives me major “we’re trying to fix the current downtrend in price” vibes. 

Did we really even give the new @openrank allowance system enough time to cook before deciding to try something else?

You bring up some good points in this thread.  Let's hope that length of HODL takes precedence over the amount held...I don't think the goal is to make the rich get richer.

As the price decreases, it makes it easier for farmers to add 10k degen to a wallet, create a new account and farm the project...then dump any extra they make after claiming.   

By factoring in the length of time held or adding a staking mechanism it would counteract that farming scheme a bit, although the farmers will just find a new way to exploit the system, it's unfortunate but just a reality.

I do like the new system because I get a steady allocation of 1k, we'll see how it may affect legit users.

Yeah, I am not going to get my panties in a bunch until I see what it is replaced with. 

They haven't done us wrong yet, so no reason to think they will now.
