we don't store any food there, just have some potted plants, and this wasn't a problem until recently

any ideas why? and best practices or setups to repel?

I seem to be in the minority but I love pigeons (and all birds) so my suggestion is to use something humane such as a reflective spinner wind decoration, or even the plastic owls if you don't find them too tacky looking.

yea, would like to avoid both nails/fake birds and killing the pigeons if i can 😅

the problem (for me at least) is that they're shitting all over the balcony! it's wild that we've never had this problem in the three years we've been here and then suddenly bam!
