Surfing

Am i the only one? When I go for a long period of time without surfing, when I start surfing again, that fear of commiting to a bigger wave comes back 🤣

same happens for me in the other direction too

after i charge a big swell, going back to 6-8 ft feels like nothing

For some reason, the more I stay in water, the more confident I get to send in bigger waves. I think you just have to get wiped out sometimes to lose the fear hahaha

...that fear never goes away for me, no matter how much I'm in the water... and "big" is a relative term (most would find my "big" to be "small" haha)

Def not the only one 😆 I'm moving to Portugal soon and will be surfing only smaller waves for the first few weeks.
