it's emergent behavior across the board, so not uniquely crypto sin. that said, whatever pretense we have for the future of X is exponentially harder to justify when the only killer use case you've discovered after $100B in VC investment is accelerating the casino-ification of people's daily lives.

In difficult times people self medicate with vices... I don't remember where I heard this, but it was about long term investing in the market and economic cycles. Back when pot stocks were popping off and how it's a new vice market in creation.
