idk what the settings are for /farcaster but i know /memes is a subscription model via /hypersub so will not see many members there likely

the change is achieving the desired outcome - curbing spam
but comes at expense of possible legit users not being made members 🤷‍♂️

to which i imagine dwr would say, up to the channel owner to arrange a workable scenario now

I can see that happening. it'll be interesting to see how things play out from user perspective as well.
