Had a heart to heart with one of my besties tonight. It was late and we just started talking organically. I told her that she needs to appreciate her boyfriend more (in the nicest way possible). She has a lot of trauma from previous relationships so she is reluctant to show the fullest amount of love to her boyfriend. The boyfriend has enough patience, love, and is smart enough to know when she is showing her reluctance. 

Both her and boyfriend are really amazing people, great friends to me too. I lived with her in college and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life.

I was afraid this would tarnish my relationship with her, as I felt that maybe this could be a personal judgement, but she took it very well. It probably helps that I flew to another country for her and booked a nice excursion for us Friday 😛
