Definitely a market down day! (or one that hasn't reversed yet) These are the days that remind you of the regret of not taking profits & the importance of sticking to a profit-taking strategy—if you have one. If not, it's time to feel the sting & build one. Do you have a strategy? Is it written down? Do you stick to it? The market will always have down days. It’s normal. Nothing goes up forever. But are you prepared for them? Or will you let your whole bag roundtrip when the cycle ends? If you're serious about succeeding, write down your strategies. Plan portfolio allocations, profit-taking, and asset priorities. Track your trades. See what works. Adapt. Build something that fits you—not who you wish you were, but who you are. Whether you're here to gamble or to build a future, make sure your actions align with your goals. Down Market Thoughts (notes for myself, notes for my frens) 🍃 Note: Condensed for FC from my post in my ZenAcademy Discord channel 🫡

Beautifully said and yes... very very real 🫡 I hope you find your profit taking ways. At least it's good to move part of it into something unlikely to go to zero, and with a strong chance of eventually surviving a crash to re-emerge and go higher

It would certainly have been nice to have taken some when it dips like this. My broad strategy is to hold and take most out after enough time or high enough number. What seems simple beforehand will probably not be easy when the time comes though.

You might want to set targets (either drawn on a chart with alerts like on dexscreener) or % increase etc, and then no matter what, take it out there. Then you're faced with a decision of what to do with what you've taken out, so you want a plan ahead of time for that situation. Maybe at the beginning of the week/month/whatever you consider how/where you'd like to split up gains etc... how much to set aside into your reserve etc, for the current state of the market,.. how much for a sudden crash... how much if it all just what kaput right now.. etc
