2 reasons for me:

Lack of competition. So having zero rates means free money means lots of bloat.

Lack of entrepreneurial support. Government and institutions should bend backwards to encourage entrepreneurship. If 80% are workers, 20% are founders. But made to feel it’s only 1% (you will fail.) < 1 bill =\= failur

Just going off first principles, there are so many types of things that could exist, so much more granularity in types of ventures where those currently working bs jobs could be more fulfilled and utilized better. But need more founders to create these jobs.
