A pattern that I intuit but probably won't pay much attention to: the vast majority of AI-assisted fiction will follow a hero's journey arc (see: The Hero With a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell). This archetypal pattern appeals deeply to human consciousness, and Campbell's framing of it is very AI-grokkable.

As a writer who has studied this, afaict the vast majority of all fiction follows this sort of stuff. Campbell is just one elaborate version of it, but the essence of the 3-act character arc is everywhere.

100%. The everywhere-ness of it is part of Campbell's genius observation and synthesis. Sort of like the fish being aware of water. I think that lots of AI-assisted will follow the hero's journey precisely because so much fiction that it's been trained on follows the arc in the way Campbell describes it.
