My actual hot take: Karl Marx was largely arguing for decentralization, but lacked our modern technology and vocabulary to express it in ways that we're able to today.

in one of my college classes i had a guy with a pony tail that would always interrupt shit with a karl marx quote that he began by stating karl marx' name and then the quote as he was stroking his man pony tail instead of a beard cuz he couldn't grow one anyway it was awful
