supposed to go home to the usa in a week for my niece’s bat mitzvah. my husband holds dual spanish and cuban citizenship but was denied visa free entry due to recent travels to cuba. after all the news about extremely inhumane deportations, im scared to bring him now. this fucking sucks.

That sucks. My dad keeps asking me how stable my US adjunct position is (its mostly online and I just need a j1 to visit for a weekend).
