With the common misnomer of using Warpcast and Farcaster interchangeably, I wonder how much it might have helped switching the -er. Farcast: sounds like a noun, abstract Warpcaster: sounds like a tool like ruler, calculator, etc.

“farcast” sounds like a verb “to farcast” but maybe that’s my bias having read the books
