/supercast is a great product and @woj.eth birthed the anonymous posting idea, but anonymous posting isn't supercast's core product — it focuses elsewhere. anonymous posting needed an anonymous origin and ZK technology for the lore to work, and $ANON + @anoncast fulfilled both of those goals. it's ok for the child to separate from and outperform its parent in specific things. this is natural.

yes, it's just the content is bland (and worse). feels like general purpose anon account is not it and should rather specialize. imo it works better in supercast, precisely because it's not completely anon. takes are mid, but more human. you can feel the community behind it.

the thing is the general anonymity takes the edge off. there's zero credibility besides having enough money / getting early on $ANON. would be more interesting if the proof was more specific, e.g. yc founder, or fortune 500 ceo... still, doesn't change the fact that skin in the game is what makes takes spicy. and for other genre of takes (jokes, engagement bait) — it's really bland
