farcaster is not sustainable if merkle gets all the funding and does not pass that on to other developers. 

you can either centralize funding and development or decentralize both. you can’t centralize funding and maintain motivation for decentralized development.

this reminds me to watch this video that @samuellhuber.eth recommended and said addressed the plan for the funding (which recently seems to be sitting tranquilly in the coffers)

do you disagree that merkle gets the vast majority of funding for the farcaster ecosystem?

if so, how is 3rd party development sustainable?

since 3rd party development isn’t sustainable with them getting the vast majority of the funding, how do you propose other devs get funded?

I agree that merkle gets the vast majority of funding. That's a fact.

I disagree in that this funding should be used to venture fund non merkle  teams.

I disagree that this venture funding merkle recieved should be paid out to developers at large.
