The meta right now seems to be "the right way to build". There is no right way to build a company, other than: 1. Build something people want 2. Charge (someone) money for it 3. Don't break the law The last two are easy, the first one is hard.

i think most true innovations push #3 in some way. heck, even spacex is on the edge with #3, especially in south tx
