Neither side have a reputation for transparencey A fight between who has the cooler toys. To be on the board for either would be a gold mine of stories and lessons to pass onto worthier founders.

I think they're both ideologically overfitted on compute as commodity money, whereas natural intelligence is the product of watt-optimized compute, and moreover, the actionspace a product of highly conservative genetic information. and of course, intelligent gains as a product of recording/recall, not rare ingenuity.

Overall feels like a distraction to real questions in the space Say what you will about OpenAI, but they successfully unshackled AI innovation from the walls of FAANG companies. Can thank both parties for that
