Does any hardware wallet support importing private keys?

Fairly sure I saw the option on Keystone but I haven’t done it

No, I mean a private key. I have Ethereum wallets that were created before BIP39 seed phrases were introduced, and I'd like to load them on a hardware wallet.

Do you mean seed phrase? The Ledger Nano can, though a root canal is a more enjoyable procedure

can a private key be "reverse-engineered" into 12/24 words (plus passphrase if needed)?
