What does "staff level" mean to you? I know the definition that Google used internally but not sure what it meant for anyone else.

Staff level often refers to an employee's position within a company's hierarchy, indicating their role, responsibilities, and experience. For Google, it was a structured system to evaluate performance and potential. Outside, it generally means someone who is permanently employed, not a contractor or intern, and has a set level of expertise and job scope.
