how does one grow on this app? I’ve tried growing my own account and brand accounts on here. does the strategy differ for personal account and brand accounts? if yes can some Warpcast OGs help me out :)

I haven't come across any definitive algo preferences. Definitely will share anything that I find brings success.

Hi Sumedha we built a mini app to help meet people on Farcaster. Early test users are gaining friends and making deeper connections. You can give it a try here and please share with me if it helps! frame.intori.co

Brand accounts still give people the ick on Farcaster, personally wouldn’t recommend it. Only works if you’re a massive and established player like base. For personal accounts I think the key is finding the topics you enjoy and cast about them. Over time you’ll find others who have the same interests and will create a dialogue. Sometimes you can get lucky with more generic posts but imo the best accounts on here have their own specific brand and style of content.

Building brand accounts is rather hard here. This is very much a people-oriented space. So build your personal account first. Talk about your brand, and use that to interact on brand related stuff. Check Farcaster native brands such as Hypersub/Fabric, GM Farcaster, Ponder, Paragraph, Bracket and maybe Zora for inspiration. They are key players.

Expect someone to comment "cast a lot" In other news there's no one way that works for everyone tbh from my experience in the last two years being here. Gotta keep iterating, keep casting and showing up in comments at most places. Repeat for a month and let's see. :)

I have no idea, some of my posts get traction and some don’t, but it’s fun either way πŸ˜„

i think growing your community here is a bit like being viral with a meme on internet. I've seen so many great casts but got stuck only with 10 likes, but someone comes and creates a shitty cast yet not even creative and becomes "the caster of the week". Ultimately you can be a reply guy, follow everyone here until you hit the limit, or do different experiments combining similar.
