Does anyone here have any experience taking Ozempic? I wonder what people think of Ozempic? Is it net good or net bad for society?

net good for society, and i will die on this hill. what other product / drug has such demonstrable power to positively influence human behavior?

life: breath, bass, yoga, mountains, pups, elves, kendama

consuming less bad food, drinking less alcohol, choosing to exercise more, feeling happier and healthier and more confident — which ultimately encourages one to face more challenging situations or to venture outside of the comfort zone

I feel like that’s not what a weigh loss drug would encourage…wouldnt taking a magic pill to lose weight, instead of healthy diet and exercise encourage a different set of behaviors?

Thats really interesting. I can maybe understand the logic for those who are already dedicated. In which case, why not just diet and exercise to begin with..? My reservation would be a world where you could let yourself go knowing you have an ace up your sleeve "hey, if I ever get too fat, I can just take the pill".

taking this weight loss drug leads to healthier diet and exercise habits (because they feel awful when they do the unhealthy stuff).

in an ideal world, people should just develop those healthy habits on their own. but were bad at that.
