Up until a few years ago I only ever invested in public markets. Made some VC investments over the past 2 years. And just yesterday I wrote my very first angel check this to a founder I met on farcaster.

Short answer: Wrote a big check Longer answer: nurtured VC relationships, then wrote a big check Honest answer: married to a trader/investor with connections, invested first with his b school friend who was raising a fund, I invested on my own to a fund I was interested in a few years later Transparent enough?

It’s funny I’m coming full circle and doing less private investments and more public. The expected public market returns are just so high rn

💯 agree. VC/angel is new for me. I’m still heavily heavily heavily weighted to public. But I love having my eyes opened to the secondary benefits to venture. Though I also like to think I picked a winner founder to invest in 😉 https://warpcast.com/adrienne/0x22412466
