Oh for sure, xmtp doesn’t have enough users to justify a standalone app If it were easier to spin up a world class xmtp client app inside of other apps it might lead to something interesting

Standalone apps are great to showcase what's possible, but ultimately the burden is on the value it can bring to people to justify its use. Critical mass does a lot, but affinity groups + utility can go far. And while we're on the topic of reach, here's some stats about network size: https://dune.com/xmtp_team/dash
