why hasn’t anyone forked telegram web and made it work with xmtp?

Oh for sure, xmtp doesn’t have enough users to justify a standalone app If it were easier to spin up a world class xmtp client app inside of other apps it might lead to something interesting

do you see this like Plaid (embedded, consistent UX)? or just easier-to-use SDKs and APIs?

Good question. I think both are important and lead to the similar outcomes Something that’s forkable and highly customisable might be better for teams that want to focus on building novel features closer to messaging Vs plug in and play which may be better for apps that would benefit from lower friction comms
