Should we rebrand Warpcast to Farcaster?

We separated Warpcast (the app) from Farcaster (the protocol) a few years ago. 

We've heard from many new users that this is very, very confusing. People hear about Farcaster, search in the app store, can't find anything called Farcaster and then churn.

if we did this, we would probably open source the client

Why is this the condition to open sourcing the client?

People should doubt the credibility of any protocol without an open source reference client tbh :p

to have a protocol with a closed source, for profit client with the same name would make people doubt the credibility of the protocol - so open sourcing here appears to be the cost of the name
