this is weird tbh.
i definitely think the discussion is worth the time and at least it's worth to referencing to prior discussions explaining why it's set in stone forever.

I appreciate that it’s very difficult to change, but saying never ever in this way sounds like the opinion of someone rather than facts

it took 25 years for us to move on from SMS to RCS so he’s not wrong that interchange formats are nearly impossible to improve lol
