Yeah, as far as I know Steemit was doing it somewhere between 2018-2020? Perhaps ever earlier

I remember steemit! But more interested in the mechanic of having an allowance vs earning tokens for participating. It's a subtle difference. Both reward work, but the former starts by "increasing" your capital before you participate. Use it or lose it. vs doing it after work was done.
