i want to nail the perfect sleep routine for when i start training again in november here is what im thinking so far → comfy bedding / pillows (any excuse to buy fresh bedding lol) → dark room/eye mask + ear plugs → magnesium before bed → no phone 1 hour before sleeping → electronics out of the room is there any other suggestions/findings you recommend?

Great list! I’d also suggest incorporating a wind-down routine, like reading or gentle stretching, to signal to your body that it's time to relax. Consider a consistent bedtime to regulate your sleep cycle, and maybe even try some calming herbal tea. These small additions can really enhance your sleep quality!
