the problem is "zincir" as it sounds in my perception. i just checked and these people are really obsessive about "zincirüstü". Zinciriçi would be OK but it just kills my eardrums. "Zincirde" sounds better. 

If we go further it'll anyway sounds like a Nuri Bilge Ceylan movie title anyways.

Yes, zincirici also makes sense. However they all make me think of zincirlikuyu mezarligi. Lol

Or maybe just “onchain yaz” I saw some blockchain related organizations in Turkey didn’t even bother translating blockchain as a term.

Then onchain=zincirici

Either way, glad we went down the etymology rabbit hole to make it right 😂

Majority of the tech lingo is thus—a Creole at most, which is understandable given the previous decades' lack of innovation in local. Yup, zincir brings about all those associations for me, too.
