Watching the Olympics with your five year old is a cool experience.

Yes, I remember as a child, olympians seemed like gods, or at least heroes. Now that I’m older, the magic has died a little, and I can see that they’re just people (remarkable, impressive people no doubt, but people nonetheless…).
