Posting for visibility: I don’t think Gardeners should submit their own props to the Open Rounds. The Garden is about being a legitimate representation of a fair vote. Gardeners voting for gardeners will look like self-dealing to outsiders which is exactly who we want to onboard.

If gardeners were to start putting up and participating in props. The level of conflict in a limited body with ‘wink wink’ voting is unmeasurable and all trust would be lost immediately .

What if a gardener decided to forfeit their role in the name of a prop. What do you think? Would that be fair? Feels right on the line tho. Best would be to wait until their gardening season is over.

IMO too many work arounds and issues created - back scratching - constant campaigning - proximity to voters - who gets to propose? What if 10 do? Limited test run. Best to stay strict to voting IMO.
