a high conviction nouns thought that i developed during the bitcoin etf led nouns break was that we need a fungible token for nouns 

(i'm aware of nogs but we need something redeemable for actual nouns + has real liquidity; nftx was a thing for a bit but never had liquidity)

could we start our own DAO-sponsored NFTX-like pool, seeded with some Nouns and ETH from the DAO for initial liquidity?

The answer is yes and the dao reaps rewards. Lils does this and has this.

NFTX has just release V3 which offers concentrated liquidity, so the amount deployed on the current NFTX pool will make for tighter spreads (and fees are paid in ETH)

is concentrated liquidity the main change in v3?

Seems that as well as rewards for lp in eth. As opposed to native token.

I added in a proposal on the discord to move across the V2 to V3.

Pros:
- Will free up 100 NOUNS and ~8ETH for the DAO
- Maintain current (better) price ranges
- Earn fees in ETH

Cons
- Need to pay gas to setup and migrate (~0.5 max)
