a high conviction nouns thought that i developed during the bitcoin etf led nouns break was that we need a fungible token for nouns 

(i'm aware of nogs but we need something redeemable for actual nouns + has real liquidity; nftx was a thing for a bit but never had liquidity)

i think nouns has this issue currently where there are two classes of people. the fans that generally don't have nouns and then the nouners that do (but the nouners are such a small number of ppl). this limits the growth of fans being super charged by feeling an economic tie to the meme.

a core part of how bitcoin culture works (or eth / sol as well; it's just how they all work) is that you can say "stack sats" and ANYONE can do that regardless of their wealth level and everyone can rally around creating wealth over the long term together as you focus on the same meme money

lil nouns had its own governance which i don’t think is the goal here plus the economic tie to nouns wasn’t 1:1 (not that that’s a failure of lilnouns just stating that it isn’t a perfect solution to this problem)

Interesting take, I'm usually against a fungible token for nouns. I'm afraid it'll turn us into just like any other NFT project. Also if the issue is barrier of entry, lilnouns should've been able to bridge that gap, no?

I've been thinking about $NOUNS quite a bit recently too. You could do an airdrop to every existing noun and then it's also sold with each Noun at auction.

It gets interesting if there is some simple redemption mechanic where X $NOUN is always redeemable for 1 Noun.

Mints & Tools charge in $NOUN. Maybe with L2.
